A Christmas message from the Chairman

At this festive time, on behalf of The Gower Chorale, I would like to thank all those who have loyally supported us by attending concerts or being a patron or sponsor over the past year. We are extremely grateful to you all, particularly our main sponsors: Mumbles Community Council, C.E.M. Day Ltd, Arthur Llewellyn Jenkins and Mrs Maureen Donald.

To the Choir I would like to thank everyone who took part in the wonderful concert which took place at All Saints on 12th December.  My grateful thanks to our musical director, Luke Spencer, who has worked so hard with us in preparing us for the concert and chose such a wonderful selection of Christmas music for us to sing.  Thank you Luke.  Also many thanks to Robert Marshall, our accompanist, for his expertise.

My thanks to the Committee and Officers of the Choir in undertaking the preparation that goes on behind the scenes for a concert.  As usual everyone has worked extremely hard.  Thank you also for the support you have given me as Chairman throughout the year.

Finally I want to wish everyone associated with The Gower Chorale a very happy Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year and I Iook forward to seeing all Choir members and any prospective new members at our first practice night of the New Year in Victoria Hall, Dunns Lane on Tuesday, 5th January at 7.00 p.m.
